Mark Brooks guest artist that played guitar for Backlash. Quiet Storm's theme song Soft and Easy wrote his first record during his early teen years. The song was “People, Let’s Communicate” which was featured on Petty Green’s television show in Washington, and received airplay on some local radio stations such as WPGC, and WKYS in Washington DC during that period. Later on he asked to record on three LP’s with the group “Backlash.” One of the songs recorded by “Backlash” was “Soft and Easy”, which was used for WHUR’s “Quiet Storm” and other radio stations on the east, and west coast. Elements (of Cosine)  is a talented blend of musicians featuring a variety of guest artist. This group is also being produced by co-founder of Cosine Mark Brooks comprised of some of the musicians. The group is currently working on original material with an emphasis on an R&B feel with progessive rock, and funk overtones. This group is great for clubs and venues with limited space, and are looking for a smaller act.
